OUR DOCTOR

Dr. James Boutros has been providing eye care services to the Windsor and surrounding areas since 2015. He graduated with Honours in Biological Sciences from the University of Windsor. He then went on to study in the Doctor of Optometry program at the Michigan College of Optometry, completing his clinical externships at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Henry Ford Optimeyes, and Manning Rd Optometric Centre.

Throughout his externships, he received extensive training in the management of ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, low vision services, pediatric optometry, binocular vision/vision therapy, and primary care optometry. He prides himself on applying his full-scope training in these fields to the management of his dear patients. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and is in good standing with the College of Optometrists of Ontario, holding a license to practice optometry in Ontario.

In his personal time, Dr. Boutros loves to spend time with his family, work on computers, and enjoy music of all cultures. His greatest passion is listening to music, and practicing on his musical instruments.
