LASIK Consultations

We provide consultations for LASIK and many other surgical options if you are looking for a permanent solution to correct your vision!

Pediatric Eye Care

Pediatric examinations may include extra testing to rule out conditions such as strabismus (eye turn), amblyopia (lazy eye), or other binocular vision disorders. Early detection of these conditions may greatly impact your child’s school performance!

Contact Lens Fittings

If you are interested in getting out of glasses, whether for social events or sports, we provide contact lens fitting and training services! Contact lenses are also beneficial for teenage patients with nearsightedness.

Specialty Contact Lenses

Hard contact lenses have many applications, however for individuals with a corneal condition, it is the only method with which they can achieve normal vision. We provide RGP and Scleral lens fittings to provide those affected with 20/20 vision!

Dry Eye Care

Dry eye can be difficult to manage, often causing frustration and daily discomfort. We aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of your dry eye syndrome to give you solutions that will soothe and provide comfort.

Ocular Health Management

Glaucoma Management

Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve. It is caused by a lack of oxygen to the nerve, generally due to elevated eye fluid pressure. Glaucoma requires frequent monitoring and adaptability in order to be efficiently managed.

Diabetic Eye Care

If you are diagnosed with diabetes, you are eligible for a yearly examination through OHIP. A yearly examination is recommended to screen for diabetic retinopathy, a visually threatening condition.

Ocular Emergencies

An eye injury or emergency is always accompanied by feelings of worry and distress. Whether it be a foreign body, abrasion, or eye infection, accommodations can always be made to get you an appointment as soon as possible!

Technology

Ultra Wide-field optomap retinal imaging

An ultra wide-field optomap image gets its name from the ability to display up to 200⁰ of the retinal tissue within your eye. This advanced technology allows us to screen for ocular conditions, monitor for progression of any conditions, and allows us to track any new developments within your retina.

Visual field perimetry

We offer visual field testing which can be warranted in certain situations such as a driving license renewal, police/RCMP application, or for the management of glaucoma and other neuro-ophthalmological conditions.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)

OCT imaging is helpful in situations involving the optic nerve or macula. This advanced technology is usually used to aid in the diagnosis/management of glaucoma, management of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and other conditions.
